Friday 20th March 2020
Here at Matt Ross Physiotherapy the health and wellbeing of everyone has been at the forefront of what I do, and therefore I wanted to update you on the plans as the Coronavirus pandemic continues.
As of today, Friday 20th March 2020, the government has recently held a press conference where they have laid out further procedures in order to help contain the virus. This information can be found
here. These more strict interventions have seen the closure of pubs, gyms, and other places in order to stop the spread, suppress the curve and alleviate the pressure on the NHS. After much deliberation, I have decided to close the clinic until further notice.
While this is disappointing, I believe we all have a part to play in this pandemic and I encourage you to continue to follow the basic but important hand hygiene rules set out by the government below:
- Wash your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
- Always wash your hands when you get home or into work
- Use hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
- Cover your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
- Put used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
- Try to avoid close contact with people who are unwell
- Avoid touching your mouth, nose and face.

I will be posting information, tips and advice on both my website and social media to help you keep well during these next few months.
Please be assured that once the situation improves, I will open the clinic to enable you to receive the most professional, evidence-based physiotherapy around.
Take care of yourselves and others. We will get through this.
Regards,
Matt Ross
